Supporting Parents, Teachers and Students

The Robinson PTSA sponsors a number of funding opportunities for faculty, staff and students. Below is a listing of the opportunities available. If you are interested in receiving funding from one of the categories, please complete the funding application listed below. Please note that the Funding Chair may request additional information to better understand the funding request. 

Funding requests will be considered at the PTSA monthly meetings. No funding request will be considered at any other time.  Funding will be awarded until which time the yearly funding allocation has been all obligated and expended. Funding is at the discretion of the PTSA Board.  Any funding request that does not contain principal comments, will not be considered by the PTSA Board under any circumstances. 

Available Funding Opportunities Include:
 

School Funding - General funds student programs that recur annually.  ANGP, Black History Bowl, Girl’s State, High O’Brien Youth Leadership Program, International Festival, Odyssey of the Mind, Partner’s Club, and four student publications are line items under this category.  Requests for funds must originate from the sponsoring teacher/faculty member.  

Staff/Teacher Development funds participation in programs for staff/teacher professional development which directly enhances teaching proficiency and/or brings new programs into Robinson that improve student achievement.  Excluded is funding for professional membership fees or dues.  Funding for individual teacher participation is limited to $150 per school year. 

S
pecial Projects funds school-related projects, materials or programs where other funding is not available or supplemental funding is required.  Projects and programs supported under this funding category should benefit the greatest number of students.  Requests for funds must originate from the sponsoring teacher/faculty member.
