The first annual Robinson Marketplace took place on November 12, 2011. There were over 70 vendors lining the main hallway and more than 1000 people visited the various booths! We had numerous student and adult volunteers both the evening prior to the event, as well as all throughout the day. It was the epitome of a true community event, made possible by the generous efforts of so many! A huge thank you to Ingrid Calcaro, the event Chair, and her committee: Lisa Chandler, Rina Hafiz, Amy Riddick, Cheryl Miller, Rachel Schreiman, Many Mangahas, Tamira Pouncil, Hannie Gonzalez, and Terri Min Snyder.
Keep your eyes open in the spring for an announcement of the fall date for our next Marketplace.

| A Special Thank You to These Businesses!
The UPS Store in Burke (Kohl’s Shopping Center) – Owner Judy Reamy (and Robinson Parent) has supported us from day one! She provided us with a UPS box and leant the assistance of her family to make our event a success.
Tart Lumber – Also Robinson parents. They graciously donated enough lumber for us to make 4 more sandwich board signs to advertise the Marketplace along major roads. They are now painted yellow and blue.
Giant (Burke Centre Parkway) – The manager, Steve Laguna, donated sodas and snacks for our large crew of awesome student volunteers.
Home Depot (in the Costco plaza) -- Donated $25 in store merchandise (paint) which allowed us to repaint the wooden signs yellow and blue. Have you seen them while driving around town?
Starbucks (Burke Center Parkway, near Kohl's) -- Manager Joshua Novak generously donated coffee, containers, hot water, and supplies to help us with the costs of running our Marketplace coffee shop. "Robinson's Wake Up Call proudly serves only delicious Starbucks coffee.
